Srinagar June 25, 2018 (KNO) : All Parties Hurriyat Conference chairman, Syed Ali Geelani on Monday while blaming Indian rulers for continuous bloodshed in state, said that we are not even allowed to mourn our slain youth. Syed Ali Geelani payed his heartfelt tributes to slain youth in Cheddar Kulgam and while condemning the killing of two civilians (Shahid Nazir Hajam and Shakoor Ahmad Dar) and showering pellets over peaceful mourners, said that Indian fascist rulers and army generals have virtually given their nod to army against innocent civilians and approved it as their state policy.

Terming the house and police detention of Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, Mohammad Yaseen Malik, Mohammad Ashraf Sehrai, Ghulam Ahmad Gulzar and Mohammad Ashraf Laya as state vandalism, Syed Ali Geelani said that nowhere in world we perceive such type of arrogance. Syed Ali Geelani while lashing policy makers in Delhi, said that they have set forth their strategy & are looking for excuses to create 1990 like situation in state to justify the use of lethal weapons against unarmed and innocent youth. Our economy has always remained easy target & it is their well thought ploy to make every soul dependant, asserted Geelani & while referring to sinister designs of India, said that they want to kill each soul in occupied state, cripple our economy & that from day first, authorities in Delhi were hell-bent to cripple & crush our economic infra structure, create sense of insecurity & are very desperate to see us holding begging bowel. Syed Ali Geelani said that state forces are now targeting peaceful protesters near encounter sites and asked the justification of showering bullets and pellets over innocent civilians. It is sheer vengeance, said Geelani and forces are simply taking revenge from civilians.

Syed Ali Geelani reiterated that instead of law and order problem, Kashmir is a political and humanitarian issue and military might can’t silence us or break our resolve. Syed Ali Geelani said if authorities think they can deter us from pursuing our birth right then they are mistaken and suggested to realize ground realities of Kashmir issue. Syed Ali Geelani while taking dig at stubborn attitude of Indian authorities, said repressive measures will prove counterproductive and it is better to accept the peoples decree for right to self-determination, resolve issue and accept people’s verdict. It will prove beneficial both for India and its people, said Geelani.
